Global Settings: Branding

Last updated: August 11, 2026

Approximate read time: 3 minutes

Branding settings let you customize how your organization appears on the candidate interview portal — the pages candidates see when they schedule interviews, pick time slots, and move through your hiring process.

Changes you make here apply across your organization's portal experience, including the header banner, your company logo, and accent colors on buttons and calendars.

Who can access Branding settings

Only users with the Admin role can open Branding settings. If you do not see Settings in the left sidebar, or you do not see Branding listed under Settings, ask an admin on your team to make the update or grant you access.

How to open Branding settings

  1. Sign in to candidate.fyi.

  2. In the left sidebar, click Settings.

  3. Under Settings, click Branding.

The page title at the top of the screen reads Branding. Your options are grouped under a section called Branding settings.

What you can customize

Organization logo

Your company logo appears on candidate-facing portal pages — for example, in the header area candidates see when scheduling or viewing interview details.

  • Description shown in the product: Upload a file under 250mb

  • Supported files: Image files (such as PNG or JPG)

  • Required or optional: Optional, but recommended so candidates recognize your brand

To upload or change your logo:

  1. Click the dashed upload area, or hover over your current logo and click the pencil icon.

  2. Click Choose File and select an image from your computer.

  3. Click the green check mark to save. Click the X to cancel without saving.

If the file is larger than 250 MB, you will see an error message and the upload will not go through. Choose a smaller image and try again.

To remove your logo: Hover over the current logo and click the red X button. The logo is removed immediately after you confirm the action.

Portal cover image

The cover image is an optional banner displayed at the top of your candidate portal.

  • Description shown in the product: Optional banner image for your interview portal

  • Supported files: Image files (such as PNG or JPG), up to 250 MB

If you upload a cover image, it is used as the header background on portal pages. If you do not upload one, the header uses your theme color instead (see below).

To upload or change the cover image: Follow the same steps as for the organization logo — click the upload area or pencil icon, choose a file, then click the green check mark to save.

To remove the cover image: Hover over the image and click the red X button.

Theme color

Your theme color is the primary accent color used throughout the candidate portal.

  • Description shown in the product: Primary color used throughout the portal

When no cover image is set, this color fills the portal header background. It also appears on interactive elements candidates use — such as calendar highlights and buttons on scheduling pages.

To change your theme color:

  1. Click the pencil icon next to the color swatch.

  2. Use the color picker to choose a new color.

  3. Click the green check mark to save. Click the X to cancel and revert to your previous color.

Saving your changes

Each branding option saves on its own — there is no single Save button for the whole page. After a successful save, a confirmation message appears in the top-right corner: Settings Updated Successfully.

If something goes wrong, you may see Failed to update settings or another error message describing the problem.

Where candidates see your branding

Branding from this page appears on your organization's candidate interview portal, including:

  • The header area at the top of portal pages (cover image or theme color, plus your logo)

  • Accent colors on scheduling and calendar screens

  • Your organization logo on consent and other portal pages

Branding settings on this page do not change the look of the internal candidate.fyi admin app your recruiting team uses day to day.
