Cornerstone TalentLink Integration: How to Connect Your Account

Overview

Connecting Cornerstone TalentLink to candidate.fyi requires two setup steps inside Cornerstone:

  1. Create a dedicated API user

  2. Create an integration and generate an API key

Once completed, candidate.fyi will be able to securely access the required Cornerstone data and perform supported actions.

Note:

  • Sandbox integrations are available immediately.

  • Production integrations require approval from Cornerstone TalentLink.

This guide walks through each step in detail.


Prerequisites

To complete this setup, you must have admin access in Cornerstone TalentLink.

Please confirm that you can access:

  • User Management

  • Integrations Marketplace

Both are available within your TalentLink settings.


Step 1: Create an API User

  1. Navigate to Settings → User Management

  2. Click Create User

When filling out the user form:

  • Enable API access

  • Assign the following roles for the appropriate organization(s):

Required Roles

  • Webservices

  • Basic Access

  • Functional Manager

  • Standard Recruiter

These permissions allow candidate.fyi to read and write the data required for scheduling and candidate management.

  1. Save the user

  2. Copy and store the username and password — you’ll need these during the connection process in candidate.fyi


Step 2: Create the Integration

  1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations Marketplace

  2. Click Add New Integration

When completing the integration form:

  • Add a description of what the integration will do (e.g. connect to candidate.fyi)

  • Click Assign integration user

  • Select the API user created in Step 1

  1. Save the integration

  2. Copy the generated API key


Step 3: Share with candidate.fyi

Once you have:

  • API username

  • API password

  • API key

Provide these credentials with candidate.fyi securely via https://share.doppler.com/
