Troubleshooting: Portal Magic Links

To ensure candidates can successfully access their portal using magic link authentication, follow these steps:

  1. Verify the job portal is activated and live.

  2. Confirm the candidate's email address is correctly entered in the system without any typos or formatting issues.

  3. If sent a direct link, ensure candidates are using the correct portal URL format: yourcompany.candidate.fyi

Usage

When candidates experience magic link issues, they should first:

  • Check their spam/junk folder for the magic link email

  • Wait at least 5 minutes before requesting another link

  • Verify they're entering the correct email address

If candidates continue to experience issues after these steps, contact support with the candidate's email address.
